Hello Friends!  

I am very excited to not only be training and running my very FIRST marathon, but also to be supporting the terrific cause of CASA.  In case you don’t know what CASA is, CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates and is a non-profit organization.  This advocacy is for children who have been abused and neglected and woks to ensure that these children have safe, forever homes.  Unlike social workers, CASA is volunteer based and has a 1:1 ratio to provide all the attention each child needs.  CASA also supports medically at risk kids and older kids who need help transitioning out of foster care and into independent living.  I hope you will join me in supporting this great cause and thank you in advance!!
